The real-time neurocritical training helps clinicians transition from protocol-based awareness to execute prompt action in high-risk cases
Noida, 27th November 2025: Kailash Hospital & Neuro Institute in Noida Sector 71, hosted a high-impact Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme focused on Neurological Emergencies and Neuro–Critical Care, reaffirming the hospital’s leadership in elevating standards of emergency and intensive neurological care in the region. The event attracted clinicians from multiple specialties, strengthening their ability to deliver rapid, protocol-driven interventions in critical neurological conditions.
The CME was led by an esteemed organising faculty comprising Dr. Anil Gurnani (Group Director – Critical Care), Dr. Pallavi Sharma (Director – Kailash Group of Hospitals), Dr. Shrikant Sharma (Director – Kailash Group of Hospitals), Dr. Vineeta Goyal (HOD & Senior Consultant – Critical Care, KHNI), and Dr. Rishabh Kumar Mittal (HOD Critical Care, Medicine & Additional Director – Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurugram).
The programme covered major neurological emergencies, including stroke, neuro intervention, Guillain–Barré syndrome, subarachnoid haemorrhage, encephalitis, neuro trauma and spinal cord injuries along with neuroradiology fundamentals and best practices for end-of-life care in neuro-critical settings.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Shrikant Sharma, Director Neurosciences, Kailash Group of Hospitals said, “Kailash Hospital & Neuro Institute has taken an important step in strengthening neuro-critical preparedness across hospitals. Neurological emergencies demand precision, speed, and multidisciplinary coordination. Training of this nature ensures that clinicians can execute the right intervention at the right moment, which ultimately defines patient outcomes.”
What set the CME apart was its intensive hands-on approach, enabling participants to train directly in hemodynamic monitoring, neurosonology, trauma assessment, CSF interpretation, and intracranial pressure monitoring. The focus remained on transforming theoretical knowledge into executable action inside emergency rooms and neuro-ICUs.
Dr. Pallavi Sharma, Director, Kailash Group of Hospitals, emphasised that the event was designed to build practical capability rather than add another academic certification. The official said, “Advanced infrastructure alone does not save lives; trained and confident clinical teams do. This CME reflects Kailash Hospitals’ commitment to ensuring that high-acuity care is not just available but delivered with skill, confidence, and consistency. The objective was simple: empower treating teams to act rather than rely on protocols as written guidelines.”
The programme concluded with a strong consensus among attendees on the value of sustained collaboration between emergency medicine, neurology, radiology, anaesthesiology, and critical care teams to reduce delays in diagnosis and improve survival rates. Participants agreed that the initiative by Kailash Hospitals has set a benchmark for practical, skill-oriented continuing medical education in neuro-critical care and expressed interest in further collaborative training sessions.
