Actor Mohit Tiwari, who hails from a farming family in Dibiyapur, Uttar Pradesh, is steadily making his mark with his performance in Subedaar. After spending nearly fifteen years in theatre and performing in more than thirty plays across Delhi’s stage circuit, the theatre-trained actor now steps into the cinematic space with the Suresh Triveni directorial.
Sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor turned out to be a memorable experience for Mohit, who recalls the veteran star’s warmth and encouragement on set. “Working with Anil sir was a wonderful experience. He was extremely cordial, generous and very encouraging. On my first day, while we were shooting an action sequence, I was still trying to understand the choreography and timing for the camera. He reassured me that it’s completely normal to take time understanding these things and told me not to worry. His warmth and encouragement meant a lot to me as a newcomer,” Mohit shares.
The actor also had an equally enriching experience working alongside Radhika Madan, whose dedication to her craft left a strong impression on him. “Working with Radhika was also a great experience. She is incredibly focused and determined as an actor. Watching her give more than 200 percent to every scene was truly inspiring. At the same time, she was very supportive as a co-actor and made the environment on set extremely comfortable,” he adds.
With Subedaar garnering appreciation, Mohit Tiwari’s journey from a small town in Uttar Pradesh to years of theatre training and now sharing screen space with some of the industry’s finest reflects persistence, passion, and the power of craft.
