Apart from being a phenomenal actress who knows how to get her act on point whenever working in front of the screen, Gugni Gill Panaich is someone who also always successfully manages to connect with the audience in a grand way off-screen. She’s got a heart of gold and most importantly, whenever, she’s not busy shooting or working, she’s always busy engaging in special humanitarian acts and leading by example. All thanks to the respect and goodwill that Gugni has earned over the years for herself courtesy of her humble nature and personality, she’s often invited to many prestigious events all over the globe as a reputed chief guest. While more often than not, she misses out due to her hectic schedule, she makes it a point to attend events and leave an everlasting impact whenever it’s possible for her to attend such gala events. Well, one such beautiful and grand event that she attended recently was the Patiala Medical College Alumni Association Meet (PMCAA) 2024. Yes that’s right.
Gugni was invited as the special chief guest and all thanks to the noble and wonderful intent behind the event, the actress flew all the way from Toronto to be a part of this opening day function.
For the unversed, these alumni members aka doctors have been holding such wonderful annual conferences for the last 50 years where they are involved in continued medical education lectures thereby facilitating fellowship activities. While the conferences happened for the longest time in North America or the western world, it was in 2015 for the first time when it took place in the beautiful city of Chandigarh in India. This year, it’s happening jointly in Patiala and Chandigarh from 28th November to 30th November and Gugni was present as the honourable chief guest on the very special opening day. Regarding attending this special event, Gugni said and we quote,
“It’s my absolute honour and privilege to be a part of this wonderful initiative. This annual event is a legacy in itself and the intent behind the same is so impressive. I am very glad to have been able to manage my time and fly down all the way from Toronto to be a part of this special event as the chief guest. Everything, right from the hospitality to everything that I received here was top-notch and I only have gratitude to offer to everyone who thought of having me on their special day. Thanks to each one of you and wishing everyone good luck going forward.”

Her simplicity and her adorable, sweet nature is what strikes a chord with the audience and leaves a positive impression.
